poison.

what are you willing to die for?
this russian dude was drugged as he attempted to find out the truth behind the murder of a journalist in russia. isn't that crazy? it leaves me with the question: what am i willing to die for? when it comes down to it...what theological truth am i willing to die for? that the bible is inerrant? is that worth my life? or...is it only that Jesus is the only way? i wonder what i would do in certain circumstances. what is worth my life...?

I'd die for innocence; meaning, I would gladly die for children and simple people. Why? I dunno... I'm envious of them.

I'd also die for the gospel - gladly at any day.

I would like to think that I also would die for family and loved ones.

I want to say I'd die for any innocent person but I don't know if that's true. You see, I've got a martyrdom complex. In actuality, dying is the easy part. It's living that's hard for.

"Cry for me, cry for me
You said you'd die for me
Give to me, give to me
Why can't you live for me" - Lauren Hill - "Ex-factor"

When it comes to theology, there are a number of things I'd die for. I'm pretty dogmatic about the authority of the Scriptures and that it is inerrant. If you lose that, you might as well believe in carnal man - for he depicts what is truth and he is his own authority. At the foundation, man’s reasoning and methodology is put higher than God’s word; meaning, man is greater than God for what else do we have than his revealed word? That's an ugly and evil slippery-slope.

I think a better question lies in the present-tense: What are you living for today? Consequently, that’s the same thing you’ll die for.
